My favorite type of food is Mexican so I am always on the lookout for ‘authentic’ Mexican food. The best I have ever tasted is at Agave Mexican Resturant in Mt. Vernon, IL. Their chimichangas and burritos almost melt in your mouth. The quality of their food and the atmosphere are evident every time I eat there. I was raised in Mt. Vernon and now live in FL but travel I-57 often from Spring through Fall. Easy access on and off from I-57 so a definite stop for me.
